I was just wishing to pay my thanks for your Drive2Drive software that earlier this afternoon enabled me to copy and install a new HD! Admitedly, I have reasonable knowledge of compuer upgrades, but the thought of having to re-install Windows and all my software onto a new Disk was daunting to say the least.

I found D2D brilliantly easy to use, although I was a little worried about the final integrity of my data. But in a little over 1.5hrs from start to finish I now have my PC running on a new drive, and I''ve put the old drive away. I couldn''t believe when I saw that even when I changed the settings and put the new drive on "MASTER", all worked perfectly!

Well done, and again, Thank you.

Please add this product review to your many happy customer file, as your program Drive2Drive is a great utility. I used it tonight to up grade from 2, 1.9GB harddrives to 1, 20GB harddrive. It was the smoothest harddrive change I have ever made. I like the interface. It is well written and easy to use. I think a 10 year old child could us your program without any problems. Great job! I will be using your products in the future. I will also tell everyone that needs it where it can be located and bought.

It simply works. Its inexpensive. I thought all I ever would need was Norton GHOST, but when Ghost choked on trying to copy a WinME 13gig drive over to a virgin 75gig drive, I thought I was done for. I tried D2D. Wizards that are actually useful. The program is sure-footed, fast, simple, does the job without being bloatware, and has even made me a better dancer. (Well, I exaggerate about the dancing part) But if you upgrade to a larger drive, save yourself grief, time and money. Get D2D and be done with it!

I recently got the Drive2Drive software and to my total suprise it worked great. It has already saved me. Something had messed up the Internet Explorer and I could not use the Net. But my "D " drive worked fine, all I had to do was switch the boot order in the BIOS. Then reclone the "SCREWED UP C" and I''m back up and running. Very Good. -- Thanks for doing something right. It''s a rare pleasure to see.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Your program saved my butt where Western Digital''s "Data Lifeguard Tools" so-called disk transfer failed. I told WD about it too!!! Why don''t you contact WD and have them add your program to their utility diskette? Yours is certainly superior to theirs.

Thanks again.

I just wanted to let you know how well your product performed. I tried to transfer my old drive info to my new drive using Drive Image software. I got multiple error messages 15 to 20 min. into transfer. I had to repeat this process several times trying to increase memory. Your program took about 15 min from start to finish. Great product.

I recently purchased a 40 meg Maxtor HD to replace the 10 meg Maxtor that originally came with my PC. I asked CompUSA to install the drive. They called to say that both the Maxtor copy program and Symantec''s Ghost program had failed dring the copy so they gave the new HD back to me and left me to my own skills. I found Drive2Drive on CNET.COM, downloaded the trial copy, and found that it worked (although the trial did change the 40meg drive to a 10meg since it does not allow partition resizing.) No problem - back to fdisk and format and buying the full product from you and 2 hours later the copy is complete, without error, and working just fine.

I was so impressed with your product that I called the local CompUSA tech support and told them about it.

Thanks again for saving me the grief of having to toally reinstall Win98SE and all my applications.

I recently downloaded a program from Future Systems Solutions called Drive2Drive. I would strongly recommend this little utility to anyone who has a need to copy any part or all of an existing hard drive to a new one. I installed two new hard drives in two different systems in less than an hour with an absolute minimum of intervention. One system included installing an ATA PCI Adaptor card and a 40gb. Ultra ATA 100 drive. Drive2Drive formatted the new drive and copied the existing "C" drive to the new one. I only had to do the physical work, Drive2Drive did the rest. The other system was more straight forward. I had only to replace an 8.5gb. hard drive that was developing bad sectors with a new 20gb. drive. Piece of cake. The only difficulty encountered was my failure to configure my BIOS for the new hard drive prior to running Drive2Drive. The cost was well worth the convenience.

Hello,

In the midst of all the negative email the support department receives, I''d like to send my congratulations on a great product. It worked flawlessly and saved me sevearl hours of reloading my system. It''s been a long time since I''ve spent $19.95 and actually felt that I received more worth from the product than the price! I''ve recommended it to my IT deparment and forwarded a suggestion to the U.S. Army IT center.

Thanks!

I was able to install, copy and set up the new drive in the time it would take to download Norton Ghost (13 mg) from the internet. D2D fits on one floppy and does most of the work for you. I just sat back and read a magazine. You have to fiddle with some of the bios settings but all in all it was a lot easier to upgrade my hard drive than the last time I tried it without this program. My wife is very relieved the PC was not down for a week while I messed with the hard drive. It was worth the $19.95 which is a third of Norton Ghost.
